Super Saturday Is Just Around The Corner

Have you heard? Super Saturday is October 24th!

Come join us at 9am at the King Street Building for a morning of creativity, food, and fun with friends!

We have so many exciting crafts, choose one or choose all...but there is definitely something for everyone!

Sign-up sheets will be at church and start September 13 and end on October 11.

All money is due on or by October 11. Even if you don't plan on making a craft, please feel free to come and join us for sampling food and laughing with friends!

Super Saturday: Pink No Sew Tutus

Description: No sew Tulle Tutu for every little girl in your life.
Price: $8.
Notes: to save money, or get a different color, you could buy your own tulle at acmoore using the 40% coupon that comes in the mail and paper or print on line, you need two rolls for 6 in. by 25 yards.

Difficulty Level: Easy Description: Make a set of handmade cards and impress with thoughtful notes! Set #1 includes everything to make these three cards (above and below).

Notes: The cards are not interchangeable between sets. Each 'baby' card in the set will have a pink and a blue strip so that it can be personalized.

Description: Create a "Holidazzling Holiday frame" using your favorite scrap booking paper. We will provide paper, frames, glitter, and holiday decor. You don't have to feel limited to the paper we choose, bring your own paper and holiday bling (the thinner the paper the better). If you have an old wood frame that you'd like to spice up, bring that too...please remember that it should be a simple wood frame, not too elaborate.

Super Saturday: Christmas Tree Forest

Name of Project: Christmas Tree Forest

Description: Decorative trees, perfect to group together on a table or mantel and mix in with other holiday decorations. There are four options: a large cream tree with beads, a large cream tree without beads, a medium red tree with beads, and a medium red tree without beads. Regardless of the size tree you make, instructions will be included for the other sizes (including the little tree pictured below).

Notes: Other things you can bring from home...

• clear craft glue, to secure the pins and beads

Price: Probably around 6 bucks (for wood, paint, stain, and ribbon)

Super Saturday: Scrapbook Paper Gift Box

Name of Project: Scrapbook Paper Gift Box

Difficulty Level: Moderate

Description: Make and take home a gift box made from sheets of scrapbook paper. They can be made in many sizes and with any type of scrapbook paper, so that they can fit any season or event. These boxes are great for packaging Christmas goodies, visiting teaching treats, and much more. We will learn to make a box that is 4-1/4" square by 2-1/8" tall out of 2 sheets of 12" square scrapbook paper. Once you have learned, you will be able to make many more and even different sizes. We'll have a direction sheet that you can keep to make many more. We will provide paper, but if you have a favorite paper, you're welcome to bring your own.
